I co-authored "Popina and Slumberina" with my sister Anat Davis, where I handled the plot and rhymes, while she brought the illustrations to life. Both of us are mothers to daughters who hold their cherished blankies dear. My daughter affectionately called her "BIBI" and it was her constant companion. Anat's daughter gave her blankie the cozy name "NIYA" and carried it around everywhere. Originally, this book was written to help my daughter let go of her beloved Bibi, as Anat's daughter had already grown up. And if you're curious about the outcome, I'm thrilled to share that after hearing the story four times, my daughter made the independent decision to let go and keep Bibi at home!
